Outlines of several interesting plans were formulated, among the first being arrangements for the fiof "Mother's Day" for 1922. nancing As yet these plans have only reached a very indefinite point, but will un doubtedly become more clearly defin ed at later meetings of the Federation. Ogden Day, June 18, will taki; place at the close of the state convention of the Federation of Women's clubs to ld in Salt Lake June 14 to 17 and was so named because Ogden wo men will be hostesses to officers and delegates, of the federation from all over the state. The committee in charge was named as follows: Miss Josephine Seaman, chairman, Mrs. Ezra Clark Rich, and Mrs. Paul Franke. Acting in conjunction with these members will be" Mrs. Edward Bichsel, Mrs. E. O. Wattis, Mrs, R. B. Porter, Mrs. J. S. Hobbs, Mrs. John I. R. Morrell, Miss Eva Culley, Mrs. Erb, Mrs- - Archie Bowman, Mrs. S. S. Smith and Miss Gladys RichCalls to the clubs throughout the United States have been made in order to bring about definite work for Am erican citizenship day. This subject; will be reconsidered at the next meeting of the city federation to be held June 6, Mrs. R. B. Porter has been chosen asdirector for Utah's citizenship day. The federation is also endeavoring to work out a plan whereby the University course of lectures , may ... be brought to Ogden during; the season of 1921-2Nearly all of the meetings here lately have been business sessions. On July 12, the regular .business matters will be abandoned, together with the regular i business hour, and 'the day will be turned into fun day.
