Both coaches, in looking back on Friday's game, called it a physical contest, played by two teams who badly wanted to win it. On one occasion it got a touch more than physical. "Emotions were high," noted Dangerfield. "A lot was on the line. It was understandable." Dangerfield also had praise for his West Jordan opponents. "That Molen kid (Brett) is a real athlete and he hurt us with a couple of touchdown catches," the coach stated. "This is definitely the best West Jordan team I've seen." Not ignoring his own squad, Dangerfield was pleased with the balanced offensive attack it displayed, scoring a touchdown in "We maintained each quarter. pretty good control," he continued, "except on a couple of occasions." Brighton scored first on its second drive possession, capping a d with a keeper by quarterback Jason Ward, The drive was set up by an interception by Travis Wilcox at the Bengal 38 and included a run by Scott Winegar.
