Utah j Parley Bowring dinger : ' t, ; i Ex-Provo- Pae an L Marion Lyman Jr., Holden, Utah, father of Mrs. Bertha Payne, Springville, died Friday in the Utah Valley Hospital of causes incident to age. He and his wife lived in Provo for a short time, while their youngest son Emerson Lyman completed his studies at the BYU. He was born Sept. 25, 1863, in Fillmore, a son of Francis Marion and Rhoda Ann Taylor Lyman. He received his education in FilW more schools, and at the age of 14, he moved with his parents to Tooele. Bessie In 1888 he married Gowans. They made their home in Salt Lake City, where they raised a family of seven children. Mrs. Lyman died, and he later married Clara May Stevens, from Holden, in the Manti LDS Temple. J They made their home in Holden and were the parents of three children. Surviving are his wife, five sons and four daughters, Hugh Lyman, New Zealand; Taylor Lyman, Salt Lake City; Donald Lyman, Los Angeles; Emerson Lyman, Holden; Mrs. Manon Smith, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Coral Rogers, and Mrs. Rhoda Clark, Logan, and Mrs. Payne of Springville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Holden LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Monday evening at the Olpin Mortuary in Fillmore, and at the Relief Society Room of the Holden LDS Ward Chapel Tuesday morning prior to services. Burial will be in the Holden Cemetery.
