Show will attend a guided missile school. Lark Lions held a 'bingo party Wednesday evening, March 20th at the Lions' club. Everyone had a good time. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Howland and daughter, Laura Ann, visited visit-ed with relatives in Montello, Nov., over last week end. A fine time was enjoyed. The 500 club met at the home of Mrs. Mary Grossman on Tuesday Tues-day evening, March 19th. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Gayle Gressman, first; Mrs. Barbara Yengich, second, and Mrs. Pat Ross, house. Members attending were Mrs. Leola Peterson, Mrs. Delta Turner of Lehi, Mrs. Anna Murray and Mrs. Lil Marshall. There was also a special guest present. Lovely refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. David A. Hand of Sandy were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Reed and family Sunday, March 17th. Miss Henrietti Britl of Kearns was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jerome and family for a few days last week. Lark Senior Girl Scouts sold Girl Scout cookies Monday, March 18th at Copperton. They wish to thank everyone who Scouts, Troop 68 sold them Tuesday Tues-day and Wednesday in Lark. They, too, wish to thank all who bought them. All in all the sale was reported a success. Lark Ward Relief Society will not hold their meeting at the LDS church house next week, it was reported. Instead they will go to Salt Lake . City and tour the new Relief Society 'building. Every member is invited. 19th. Also helping the little fellow fel-low celebrate his 'birthday were his mother, Mrs. Harry Carson and Mrs. June Draper. Enjoying a slumber party at the home of Virginia Nielsen Wednesday evening, 'March 13th, were Sonja Reed, Mary Ann Lindsay, Marcine Edwards, Max-ine Max-ine DtCol of Copperton and Joyce Peterson. Ward conference was held at the Lark LD3 Ward on Sunday, March 17 tit. Church officials were in attendance at both sessions. ses-sions. In the last session, held in the evening, all the officers were sustained into their offices. Mrs. Rosa Yengich of Midvale is visiting with her son and daughter dau-ghter in law, Mr. and Mis. John Yengich and family for a while. Allen Robinson arrived home March ICth for a visit with his-parents, his-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Robinson Ro-binson and daughter, Jlean. When he leaves March 27th for his new assignment he will report re-port to Warren, Ohio, where he LARK NEWS Pat Dalley Phone 901 J 1 LARK P-TA ELECTS OFFICERS FOR NEXT YEAR Mrs. Robert Foist was elected president of the Lark P-TA for the coming school year at a meeting held at the Lark Elementary Ele-mentary School Monday night, March 18th. She . will succeed Mrs. Boyd Stevens.. Other new officers elected at the meeting include: Mrs. Tharen Holladay. vice president, and Mrs. Rodney Caywood, secretary and treasurer. After the election, the younger GUI Scouts, Troop 68, put on a puppet show called "Cmderalla" under direction of Mrs. Charles Ball and Mrs. Ralph Chatfield. After the puppet show, the film "A Desk for Jiillie". was shown. A very good attendance was present at the meeting. Lark P-TA will sponsor a candy can-dy sale at "the Lark school on Friday, March 29, to raise funds for the school's program, according accord-ing to Mrs. Boyd Stevens, president. pre-sident. Dr. and Mrs. R. V. Peterson and daughter, Ro'byn, of Corval-lis. Corval-lis. Ore., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler.
