Show BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL NEWS by Toni Stewart Junior Prom Chosen to reign over the Junior Jun-ior Prom "Stairway to the Stars" which was held last Friday night, March 22, were Eleanor Marko-vich, Marko-vich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Markovich of Copperton, and Larry Rakich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rakich of Midvale, formerly of Highland Boy. They were crowned by Marie Lovat and Andy Trujillo, who received the crowns from the crown bearers, bear-ers, Lynn Wankier and Karen Bianchi. A post prom was held Monday for the Junior and Senior High. Price of admission was ten cents per son. SCHOOL NOTES Report cards were given out Mondav. School was adjourned at 1 :45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon due to a teachers meeting. Midvale Junior High presented their traveling assembly to both the Junior and Senior High Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Junior High Dance Tonight "Teen - Time Memories", has been chosen as the theme for the . Junior High Night Dance to be held tonight, Friday, at school The Junior High council is in charge. Dress is apron and overall. over-all. . Tickets are 75 cents per couple and 50 cents stag. It's from 8:00 to 11:30 p.m. Buses will run. Citizen of the Month Gary Saltas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Saltas of Lead Mine, was chosen "citizen of the month' by the Boy's Club. Gary is the representative of the Junior class and is active in football, baseball and wrestling. He also is in the school play. |
