WOMEN'S CIVIC CLUB CLOSING MEETING, INSTALLATION SLATED WEDNESDAY, MAY 11 Members of Bingham Women's Civic Club will gather for a social evening an installation tea the final meeting of the 1959-60 club year on Wednesday, May II, 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center. The club's officers will be hostesses for the evening: president, Mrs. Richard C. Stevenson; first vice president, Mrs. Marvin Throckmorton; second vice president, Mrs. Joe Dispenza; recording re-cording secretary, Mrs. Guy Delia Lucia; correspondiing secretary, Mrs. S. W. Jacques; treasurer, Mrs. Ros M. Cushing; historian, Mrs. Jack Householder Jr., and member-at-Large, Mrs. Richard G. Steele. A feature of the evening will be the installation of new officers, to be conducted by Mrs. Clarence Williams of Magna, past Central District president. Term of office in the Bingham Civic Club is two years. Incoming officers to be installed are: present, Mrs. Marvin Throckmorton; Throck-morton; first vice president, Mrs. James Xanthos; -second vice president, presi-dent, Mrs. Roju M. Cushing; recording record-ing secretary, Mrs. Hosmer Peterson; Peter-son; corresponding secretary, Mrs. Harvey L. Goff; treasurer, Mrs. Glenn Huebner; historian, Mrs. Guy Delia Lucia; and member at large, Mrs. Richard C. Stevenson; publicity chairman will be Mrs. Sam Fernco. BINCHAM LIONS Bingham Canyon Lions Club held a very nice ladies night social in Salt Lake City Tuesday evening, May 3. 36 Lions, ladies and guests attended. Special guests of the Bingham Bing-ham club were President and Mrs. Wright Sheldon and Secretary and Mrs. Clifford Bletzaker of the Lark L'om Club. Dinner at Lamb's Grill Cafe followed by dancing at the Terrace were enjoyed. Committee in charge of arrangements included Verio Kendrick, Shirl Scroggin, Pete Dimas and Jack Tallas. Bingham Ward Primary conference confer-ence was held last Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nichols visited last Saturday w.th Mr. and Mrs. Bill Andreason and family of Murray. Mur-ray. Mr. and Mrs. Ross M. Cushing spent last week end at Charleston. Thomas. Other members attending were Mrs. Charlotte Murano, Mrs. Hazel Robbe, Mrs. Pearl Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, Mrs. Neva Jensen, Mrs. Myra Larick, Mrs. Kay Sonne, Mrs. Irene Frazier, Mrs. Zaccaria and Mrs. Edna Jacobsen. Mrs. Ediith Johnson and Mrs. Jenny Crane were special guests. Next Circle meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Boyd in Lark on May 18. Mr. and Mrs. George Manos returned re-turned recently by plane from a very enjoyable four months visit with their daughter and son-in-lawt Mr. and Mrs. James Rekoutis and family of Stockton, Calif., and their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Manos and family of San Leandro, Calif. While there they also enjoyed visitfng friends and sightseeing in the vicinity. Bingham Ward Relief Society for Tuesday, May 10, at 10 a.m. will be the social science lesson with Mrs. Mary Raby leader. All ladies of the ward are invited. Copperton Ward Relief Society is holding their monthly work day and closing social next Tuesday, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nichols spent Tuesday fishing at Lehi pond. Good luck was reported with both catching catch-ing their limit. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Murray enjoyed dinner Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones and son, Terry, of Kearns. Mrs. L. W. Nielsen of Midvale came Wednesday to spend the balance bal-ance of the week with Mrs. Eugene Morris. Entre Nous club met last Thursday Thurs-day night at the home of Mrs. H. F. Dowd of Midvale. Prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. Axel Sybrowsky, Mrs. Miles Gaythwaiite, Miss Kay Braun and Mrs. W. C. Carter. Lovely Love-ly refreshments were served by the hostess. Fire Auxiliary met Monday evening ev-ening as guests of Mrs. Verl Peterson. Peter-son. Bridge was played and prizes won by Mrs. Ross M. Cushing, Mrs. Hosmer Peterson, Mrs. Verio Kendrick Ken-drick and Mrs. Merlin Schultz. Lovely refreshment were served to twelve members by the hpstess. Mrs. A. J. Sargent will be hostess next Monday night. Mrs. Maybell Torgensen of Monroe Mon-roe has been visiting her daughter and husband, Mr. end Mrs. Hunt Nielson and family here and also in Salt Lake City for the past two weeks. Mrs. Nielson is taking her mother home to Monroe Friday (today) and spending Saturday and Sunday in Cedar City with her daughter, dau-ghter, Patsy, who is attending CSU there. f Martha Circle met Wednesday at the Doll House in Salt Lake City as guests of Mrs. Helen Sullenger. A very lovely one o'clock luncheon was enjoyed after whiich a business meeting was conducted and bridge was played.
