Show BYU AGAIN TO PRESENT SAND IN THEIR SHOES "Sand In Their Shoes", the mammoth mam-moth musical production, which played to over 45,000 people last year, will be presented again because be-cause of the persistent requests from many interested people who were unable to obtain tickets last year. A youthful cast of hundreds, including in-cluding singers, dancers, and full symphony orchestra will pay tribute trib-ute to those great men and women of courage and valor whose sacrifice sacri-fice and toil nlayed such an important import-ant role in the "winning of the West." Only a cast of this size could do justice to the combined talents of such leaders as Dr. Harold I. Hansen, Han-sen, director; Dr. Crawford Gates, composer of the musical score; and Dr. Harvey Fletcher, whose huge amplifiers and stereophonic sound system did so much to insure the great success of last year's production. produc-tion. The highly praised choreography choreo-graphy will be under the direction of Eugene Loring of Hollywood. Performances are scheduled for May 27. 28, 30, 3 f. and June I, in Brigham Young University's outdoor out-door stadium. Admission prices will remain the same as last year: $1.50 for general admission, $1.00 for those under 15, and $2.50 for reserved re-served seats. Everyone is invited to attend. |
