Show Mrs. Melissa, Kirby Brown, 80, of Provo, died at her home last Friday, April 29, at 8:30 a.m. after a long illness. Mrs. Brown was a sister of Mrs. Gladys Scroggin of Copperton. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, Provo. Interment In-terment wa in Provo City Cemetery. Ceme-tery. American Legion Post No. 30 of Bingham has changed their next regular meeting from Monday, May 16th to a week later, Monday, May 23, according to Bill Hennings, commander. The meeting will be held at the cemetery et 5 p.m. and time will be spent in cleaning veterans vet-erans grave in preparation for Memorial Day, Mr. Hennings said. Ronnie Boren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Boren, returned home last week upon completion of his two-year two-year LDS mission to the Central States. Three from Bingham. High School Mrs. Virginia H. McDonald, McDon-ald, Pearl Milner and Tina Boren are in Phoenix, Ariz., this week attending the Southwest district meeting of the American Association Associa-tion of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. The conference began be-gan Wednesday and continue to Saturday. Bingham High student James M. Prigmore won top honors in Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters Let-ters junior division contest for composition com-position "Suite No. 2 for Piano," it is announced.
