The Strikers had lost to the Weber and State team earlier when they played without a full roster of players. This game was different, however, as the Strikers went into this exhibition game up to full strength. In the first half. Curt Siegal, right halfback, scored the first and only goal of the first half of the game. In the second half. Weber scored two early goals and held on to their lead until the last 10 minutes of the 5-- 1 0 2-- 1 ' match. It was then that Striker Rob Kunce took the ball and dashed 45 yards for the goal. With only seven minutes reStrikmaining and the score tied er center halfback Bill Miller scored to give the Strikers their revenge, That Sept. 12 match was a warm-ufor a league game against Ranco Rental Saturday at home. Striker Miller picked up where he left off against Weber as he fired in Hill's first goal of the match from 25 yards out. 2-- 2, 3-- 2. p Left wing Rob Kunce then kicked in I' another point to put Hill up they stayed until half time. In the second half, the flood gates opened for the Strikers. Miller scored his second goal of the match when he faked out the Ranco defense and goalie and then blasted the ball into the goal. With Hill center Stan Sklyarski scored again for the Strikers. Then Ranco was heard from. Right wing Dereck Beresford put more icing on the victory when he scored Hill's final goal of the match. Final score was for Hill. "This is without a doubt the best soccer team Hill has had in the past six years," said Striker coach Ray Uris.
