I usually try to ignore place during the winter months this year, when the days are short and cool (because Ramadan is figured using the lunar calendar, it begins ten days earlier each year), it still isn't easy to fast for a month straight. "People around you are very considerate about it," he said. "They don't eat in front of you. One thing about the U.S. is everyone minds their business. Everyone under-stands- it."
