Two popular services include ear irrigation and toe nail trimming, although other services and tests are available. To make an appointment or for more information, call the center, Sister Debra E. Lowe, daughter of Lynn and Peggy Lowe of Lehi, has been called to the Louisiana Baton Rouge LOS Mission. She will speak in a sacrament service Sunday, Oct. 23, at 12:30 p.m. in the Lehi North Stake Center Chapel, 851 N. 1200 East, Lehi. Friends and family are invited to attend an open house afterward at the Lowe residence, 1505 E. 900 North, Lehi. Sister Lowe will enter the Missionary Training Center on Nov. 768-716- 5. Flu shots will be offered on Monday, Oct. 24 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The $7 cost can be reimbursed through Medicare. Pneumonia shots will also be available at a cost of $8. The public is invited to participate in this service also. i Sister Marci Martin American Fork bowler gets to finals Cache Wadley, American Fork, was one of four finalists in the Grand Prix Bowling Association tourament held this past weekend at Jack and Jill Lanes in American Fork. It took a 1204 six game score to make the top 16 cut. Wadley qualified with 1858 pins. Other final S - ists were Dean Dorland of Twin Falls, Idaho, 1939 pins, Nick Black, Helper, 1941 pins, and Allen Paulsen, Clinton, 1872 pins. In the final four step ladder finals, Paulsen defeated Wadley 185 to 180, but then lost to Dorland 203 to 178. Dorland then defeated Black 235 to 204 for the title and his first Grand Prix win. Dorland won $550 for his first place finish, Black $300., Paulsen $250 and Wadley $200. Other local area bowlers finishing in the top 16 were Sam Wadley, American Fork, 7th, winning $155, Jack Wadley, American Fork, 15th, winning $76. The annual Home Energy Assistance Target (H.E.A.T.) program will be offered for the third year to subsidize the cost of heating bills for families. Community Action workers will take applications for senior citizens at the Lehi Senior Center on Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. by appointment. Applicants must provide identification, Social Security cards for all household members over 18, copies of the most recent utility bills, verification of attendance at an energy fitness class, proof of income for all family members for the month prior to application, and proof of medical bills paid during the prior month.
