He was born July 22, 1913 in Myton, son of Heber Albert and Mary Ann Andreson Curtis. He married grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Reed ""1 I 1 Leah Vernice Barnhart Jan. 25, 1934 in Delta. He owned and Curtis's operated Yerington, Curtis, Hawthorn, Mrs. Glen Nev.; Arthur Curtis, Hayward, Calif.; Ted Nev.; (Wanda) Denton, Lake City; Mrs. (Betty) Taylor, nyvale, Calif. He preceded in death all of Lehi; Mrs. Kenneth (Deon) Lamb, Survivors include his Flagstaff, Ariz.; Mrs. wife of Lehi; two sons Burke (Janae) Bristol, and four daughters: Yerington, Nev.; Mrs. Ronald J. He was born April 29, 1971 in Provo, to Bryce K. and Georgia Dee Heringer Clements. He was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 17th Ward. He was a student at Pleasant Grove High School. He enjoyed all sports, including water and snow skiing. Clements, an uncle and Dr. Arthur McAllister Dr. Arthur James McAllister, M.D., 68, died Sunday, Aug. 21, in Salt Lake City. He was born Jan. 14, 1920, in Panguitch, Utah, a son of Arthur Dee and Elizabeth D. Hatch McAllister. He married Vilate Boley on June 11, 1942, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Raised in Panguitch and American Fork, he was an athlete at American Fork High School in basketball, football and track. He attended Utah State University and the University ofUtah. At the U of U he set the conference record in the high jump and was Utah Athlete of 1941. "Dr. Mac" was in the first years. Along with much research, he lectured at medical schools and medical societies throughout the country. He was a member of the Utah State Medical Association, Salt Lake Surgical Association, American College of InternatSurgeons, ional College of Sur- geons, American Society of Abdominal Surgeons, many of which he served in leadership capacities. He was affiliated with Salt Lake City's LDS Hospital for over 40 years, where he served as Chief of Surgery. He was influential in establishing the internship and residency programs between the four- - year medical University of Utah school graduating class Medical School and at the University of local hospitals. He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Lauren Jarman. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 24, at noon at the Larkin Chapel, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call an hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Recline 'N lift Chair Sara Ellen Hatch Sarantinos West, 94, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 1988 at a daughter's home in Orem. She was born March 4, 1894, in Vernal to Josephus and Martha Luella Thomas Hatch. She married James J. Sarantinos on April 10, 1911, in Vernal. He died Feb. 22, 1920. She married Lawrence H. West Dec. 28, 1922. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Nov. 27, 1951. She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as a teacher, counselor and president of the Primary.
