Show HOLY ROSARY CHURCH by Connie Mochizuki Holy Rosary Altar Society The lovely patio garden of Mr. and Mrs. Ross M. Cushing was scene Thursday evening, July 23, of the Holy Rosary Altar Society's midsummer party. Treat of the evening ev-ening was a steak dinner cooked on the outdoor grill by Mrs. Cushing and Mrs. Hugo Bianchi, co-chairmen of the affair. Featured also was pot luck dishes brought by members. Enjoying pleasant conversation con-versation and food were special guests, Father Maurice Chase of 1 Dibon, Calif.; Father Thomas Na-vien Na-vien of Charleston, Mass., and Father Fa-ther John J. Sullivan and following members Mrs. Malcolm Robertson, Mrs. Sam Feraco, Mrs. John King, Mrs. Paz Gallegos, Mrs. Alice Burke, Mrs. Tomas Fregoso, Mrs. Boyd Anderson, Mrs. Carrie Doyle, Mrs. Adolph Trujillo, Mrs. Rita Ugarte, Mr. Clarence Bills, Mrs. Sam Lovat, Mrs. Frank Guarascio, Mrs. Sam Dispenza, Mrs. George Badovinatz, Miss Connie Mochizuki, Mochi-zuki, Mrs. Ella Bills, Mrs. Cushing and Mrs. Bianchi. Climaxing the evening's festivity was a series of party games under the direction of Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. Kino. Friday, August 7th First Friday of Month Friday, August 7 is the first Friday Fri-day of the month. There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Sacra-ment at 8:00 a.m. with all day adoration. ado-ration. Benediction will be held at 6:00 p.m. with mass following. Altar Al-tar society members will be called by phone to designate their hour for adoration and Mrs Carrie Doyle, spiritual chairman, stated that the adoration list will be placed in the Irear of the church this week. At Immaculate Conception church in Copperton there will be early morning mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Sacra-ment and all day adoration until 3:30 p.m. Benediction will follow at 3:30 p.m. Mass is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at St. Paschal's Church, Lark. On Trip To Coast Combining business with a brief vacation is Rev. John J. Sullivan, pastor of Holy Rosary parish who left last Sunday morning to spend I he next three weeks in San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif. Committee Holy Rosary Altar Society Will be in charge of refreshments for the games party to be held Sunday, August 9 and sponsored by Holy Rosary Men's Organization. Follow ing are the committee members: Mrs. Sam Feraco, Mrs. Hugo Bianchi, Bian-chi, Mrs. Sam Lovat, Mrs. Rita Ugart and Mis Connia Mochiiuki. , |
