Show SUMMER RECREATION ANNUAL DANCE REVUE AT COPPERTON AUGUST 6; BINGHAM AUGUST 7 This year the Copperton and Bingham playgrounds will combine to present their annual dance revue. re-vue. The dates have been set to be August 6 in Copperton and August 7 in Bingham. Both will be held at the grade schools and will begin at 7:30 p.m. A variety of dances will be presented including modern, jazz, tap, humorous, ballet, calypso, folk and polka. Over fifty boys and girls will participate. There is no admission ar.4 everyone is invited to come out and see the program. Storytelling Festival Tuesday, July 28, the Bingham, Copperton and Lark playgrounds traveled to Midvale for a storytelling story-telling festival. All of the south district including West Jordan, Midvale, Mid-vale, Murray, Riverton, Herriman, Butler and White City participated. Each playground presented a . five-minute five-minute story that was judged on originality, performance and Getting. Get-ting. The Bingham story was one of the four chosen to take part in the all county recreation festival that will be held at Liberty Park July 31 (today). The Binghcm area presented the story "Scrambled Eggs" by Dr. Suess. Larry Arritola, Shawnie ; Anderson and Sandra Borich had the main parts. Janice Nix was director di-rector and supervisor. The perform ance will bo repeated on the dance program Friday, August 7. O |
