Mrs. Ross Cushing was named in charge. . Jr. CYO Club Jr. CYO Club of Holy Rosary parish will kick off its winter pro gram of activities with a Christmas party Saturday, Dec. 20 at BCO Hall. The festivities are scheduled to begin from 6:30 and continue till 9:00 p.m. A continuous program pro-gram has been prepared which includes in-cludes games, singing and dancing. Refreshments and food of course, will be the high spot of the evening. even-ing. Later everyone will gather a-round a-round the piano to sing Christmas carols which will conclude a memorable mem-orable evening for the young people peo-ple of this parish. The officers of the club are looking for a good turnout of young people. Jr. CYO Adult Advisors Meet Meeting for the first time were a group of women appointed to serve as adult-advisors for the Jr. CYO group. Representing Immaculate Immac-ulate Conception parish are Ralph Murano, John Anderson and Mrs. William Ablett; representing Holy Rosary parish are Mrs. Hugo Bian-chi, Bian-chi, Mrs. Kenneth Fullmer and Miss Connie Mochizuki. They met in the convent of the Franciscan Sisters Tuesday evening. It was one of a series of monthly meetings, which the advisors plan to hold every 1st Tuesday of the month. Through combined efforts, plans will be made to further the spiritual spir-itual and social activities for youngsters. HOLY ROSARY CHURCH by Connie Mochizuki Catechism Commencing Monday, Dec. 22 during the two weeks Christmas vacation, there will be no Catechism Cate-chism classes, however Bingham children from the third to the sixth grade will attend Catechism class Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Holy Rosary Church in Bingham. Childrens confessions con-fessions will be heard immediately after. Las Mananitas Very Successful Mrs. Henry Fisher, chairman of the Las Mananitas held last Saturday Satur-day was joined by her committee in extending a heartfelt thank you to all the parishioners who contributed con-tributed in any way to the success of the Mananitas feast. Immaculate Conception Altar Society Xmas Party Gay decorations in traditional Ciiristmas colors set a festive holiday holi-day mood for 22 members of the Immaculate Conception Altar Society So-ciety who were honored at a Christmas buffet supper Wednesday, Wednes-day, Dec. I 7 in the church hall. In charge of dinner arrangements was Mrs. James Zanardi, with assistance rendered by Mrs. Louis Arritola, Mrs. Charles Zanardi and Mrs. Ralph Murano. Special guests of honor were Father John J. Sullivan, Father P. Farrell and Mrs. Timothy Sullivan. Climaxing the buffet supper sup-per was the exchanging of gifts, and a round of Monte Carlo Whist. Holy Rosary Altar Society Yule Party More than 36 members were in attendance Thursday evening, Dec, llth at a gay yuletide party for Holy Rosary Altar Society. Members Mem-bers were feted to a delicious turkey tur-key dinner with all the trimmings. Gifts were exchanged and a round of games was enjoyed by all. |
