Show UTAH NEARS BONDS GOAL Purchasers of United States savings sav-ings bonds in Utah during November Novem-ber were $1,472,640, bringing the total to date to $17,724,426 or 99 per cent of the year's quota, according ac-cording to Frederick P. Champ, state savings bonds chairman. W. Russell Anderson, Bingham District bond chairman, announced that sales within Salt Lake county amounted to $517,766.00 for November No-vember and $7,494,125 for the year to date, or 98.6 percent of the 1958 goal. "Peace on earth and good will to all and each one of us wants peace for his own precious reasons," rea-sons," the chairman said. "But peace costs money. Money for strength to keep the peace. Money for science and education to make the peace lasting. And money saved sav-ed by individuals to keep our economy econ-omy strong.
