Show at St. Mary's of the Wasatch, Salt Lake City, on Sunday, December 28, at 8:00 p.m. This show is being be-ing sponsored by the Diocesan Council of Catholic Youth. Last Saturday, December 13, was the date the Copperton Primary Pri-mary workers held their Christmas party. All teachers and officers and their partners attended. A lovely dinner was held at the ward-house ward-house after which circle games were played. Everyone had a very enjoyable evening. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olha and children, Susie and Carol, of Nor-walk, Nor-walk, Calif., are spending Christmas Christ-mas holidays with Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Poulsen and family. Mrs. Olha will be remembered as the former Ruth Barnett. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Groves and children, Calvin and Wade, visited over the week end with Mrs. John Covert -and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hendrickson and family of Preston, Pres-ton, Idaho. Mrs. Dewey Wright visited in Salt Lake City Wednesday with her daughter, Beverly. They spent the afternoon shopping and had dinner together. Beverly spent Wednesday evening with her family fa-mily in Copperton. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cheever Sunday Sun-day evening were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peterson and children, Bobby and Rodney of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and family, Ronald, Gary, Marie, Jaylene, ond Richard, of Granger, and Mr. and Mrs. William Roger and family, Danny, Kenny, and Rochelle of West Jordan. Mrs. Larry Sax of Lead Mine and Mrs. Robert Groves spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City shopping. shop-ping. Later they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Forman and family of Kearns. Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Art Fike were Mrt. Margaret I Lynch and Mrs. Gladyi O'Connor cf Salt Lake City. Mr. and" Mrs. Bert Abrahamson, who came from Tagus, N. Dak., for the funeral of Mr. Abraham-son's Abraham-son's brother, S. H. Abrahamson, held last Friday in Salt Lake City, left Monday to return home. While here they stayed at the home of a sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. jH. R. Gust. I Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gust of , McGill, Nev., attended the funeral , of Russell's uncle, S. H. Abraham-son Abraham-son held in Salt Lake City last I Friday. They returned to McGill Saturday morning. Mrs. Larry Peterson and daughter, daugh-ter, Dianne, are spending the holidays holi-days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Chadwick and family. A birthday dinner was given Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Beckstrom in West Jordan in honor of Mrs. Beckstrom's mother, Mrs. Maude Deakin. Those helping Mrs. Deakin celebrate her 77th birthday anniversary anni-versary were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cole and children, Gary and Don-nie, Don-nie, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Throckmorton Throck-morton and son, Maynard, Mr. and Mrs. Max Deakin, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Beckstrom of West Jordan, Jor-dan, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Deakin and family of Butterfield Canyon, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Foist of Lark. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cowdell and children, Sherlene, Terry and Kathy, of Kearns were dinner guests Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Art Fike. Mrs. Albert Ray entertained at a birthday dinner Saturday evening even-ing in honor of her husband's birthday anniversary. Guests helping help-ing Mr. Ray celebrate the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Foreman and family of Herriman, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ray and family, and Miss Beverly Ray of Salt Lake City. Miss Ann Stocks spent Wednesday Wednes-day evening visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Don Tyson of Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Densley and children, Cindy and Doujglas, of Kearns spent Saturday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol and family. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ray attended at-tended a surprise birthday party given in Sandy Sunday evening in honor of Stanley DeLeshe. Other guests enjoying the delightful occasion oc-casion were Mrs. Morris Holmstead and children, Kathy and Sherry, of Lehi, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jensen of Midvale, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stratton and Mr. and Mrs. Van Talle of Salt Lake City. Thursday evening dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol and, family were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Walker and family of Grander. Mr .and Mrs. Louis DeCol have receied word from their son and daughter in law, Sgt. and Mrs. ! Monte DeCol of Hawthorne, Nev., that they are the proud parents of a baby girl who was born on Thanksgiving day. XMAS CANTATA TO BE GIVEN AT COPPERTON WARD THIS SUNDAY EVENING Copperton Ward Choir, under direction of Alden Nix director, will present their annual Christmas Christ-mas cantata entitled "Chimes of ! the Holy Night" at the Copperton wardhouse this Sunday night, December De-cember 21, 7:00 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited and welcome to attend. Mrs. Annie Ablett of Canon City, Colo., is here visiting wi':h I Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ablett. She is the mother of Bill and Tim Ablett. j Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Winn and j children, Jane and Chuck, and i Mrs. Rae Poulsen visited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. L .E. Barnett of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Olha of Norwalk, Calif. Copperton. Ward MIA held its annual Christmas party Tuesday evening, December 1 6. After a delightful de-lightful program, a dance was held in the recreational' hall.
