September 22. 1977 Autumn Wedding Planned Making plans for a September 30 wedding in the Salt Lake LDS temple are Miss Connie Jean Williams and Dale Merlin Archibald. Announcing the forthcom- ing marriage are the parents of the bride-elec- t, Mr. and Mrs. Lee J. Williams of Grantsville, Utah. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin L. Archibald of Tremonton. A wedding breakfast hosted by the groom's parents will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Salt Lake City. The couple will be honored at a reception Friday, Sept. 30, at the Grantsville Stake Center from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The following evening, Saturday, Oct. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m.. they will be further honored at an open house at the Tremonton Second Ward. is a 1974 The bride-to-b- e graduate of Grantsville High whi t e she was involved as a cheerleader, drill team president and former National Honor Society member. Miss Williams later graduated from Utah Technical College in Frovoas a certified dental assistant. Friends and relatives are invited to attend and visit with the couple, who ask that no gifts be brought. Alfred Manning and Susie E. Ehmann were married December 6, 1927 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on June 11, 1 952 - in the Logan LDS Temple. Susie was born in Gage, Oklahoma, and lived in v Miami, Texas, until she moved to Tremonton at the age of nineteen. Alfred was born in Mendon, Utah, and was reared in Blue Creek and Garland, Utah. After their marriage they purchased a dry farm in Pocatello Valley, Idaho, Ml August 30, 1977, in the Brigham City Hospital. She is the first child for the couple and will be named Leandra. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Woodward of Brigham City and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Barfuss of Tremonton. Posse, where he filled many leadership positions, including that of chief. He served on the Tremonton City Council for one term during the 1950's. Golf and fishing are among his favorite pastimes. Mrs. Manning has centered her life around her home and family. Gardening has always been a special hobby CHADAZ her and has occupied much of her time. Hansen of Tremonton announce the birth of a baby girl born Sept. 5, 1977, in the Tremonton Hospital. She will be named Chantel and she is the first child for the couple. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Vern Tripp of Malad, Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond N. Hansen of Tremonton. Great grandmother is Mrs. Mary Wahl of Deer Lodge, Montana. Christina Miller and Walter Barela ATTENTION HUNTERS 30 m n, HANSEN Local BPWers Attend Meeting Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Manning where they built their own home and lived during the summers until 1942. At that time they sold their property and bought a farm in Howell, Utah, where Alf engaged in farming and raising thoroughbred horses until the time of his retirement. The couple has lived in Tremonton during most of these years but has found pleasure in spending their winters in Phoenix and Mesa, Ariz. Building a new home in the Mesa area is now their current interest, although they will continue to maintain their Tremonton residence. Both the Mannings are active members of the LDS Church and enjoy regular visits to the temple in Ogden and Mesa. Mr. Manning was a charter member of the Box Elder County Sheriffs Mr. and Mrs. Greg (Moe) Rose of Tremonton announce the birth of a baby boy born August 26, 1977 in the Brig-haCity Hospital. The new arrival is the couple's first. He will be named Jared Gregory.
