Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and daughter, Maria and son, Marian, enjoyed a drive to Immigration Canyon and Bear River Narrows the forepart of the week, after which they had dinner at a restaurant in Preston. Enjoying ice cream and cake at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bart Flint and family Sunday evening were Mr., and Mrs. VarC Flint of Portage, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Kimber and son of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Claine Smith of Tremonton and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and family. The occasion was Carrie Dawn Flint's second birthday. Visiting Mrs. Geo Wood during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Neal Wood of Downey, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bergen of Torrance, Calif, and Cyd Bergen and son, Kevin, of Provo. Alma Johnson of Riverside, Calif, visited Mrs. Ruby Farnsworth during the week. Enjoying Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Gale Welling Sunday was Mrs. Mabel Oyler of Tremonton. Mr. and Mrs. Dent Mason of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Terry of Clearfield visited Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason during the week. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason attended a Mason reunion held at the Pioneer Park in Brigham City. Their daughter, Mrs. Mae Hansen of Brigham City was chairwoman for the day's activities. Over one hundred attended. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Afton Adams Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Steed of Ogden. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson and family Wednesday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Edwards and daughter, Jean, of Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gordon ot, Smithfield were Sunday 'dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Adams and family. All-re- d; Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hess and family were at the Salt Lake airport Sunday morning to meet their son, Tony, who has returned after the spending ' ' summer months in Hawaii. He was employed by the Dole Pineapple Company and assisted in planting pineapple at Lanai. Tony will be a senior at Bear River High School this fall. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Steven Coombs are Mrs. Coombs' brother, Mike Free-ponand his friend, Lori Gooley of Rosser, Wash. Arriving Monday to visit Mrs. Alene Sutherland for a few days were her son and Mr. and daughter-in-law- , Mrs. Dale Sutherland of Sacramento, Calif. Mrs. Florence Gam attended the Garland Bridge Club held at the home of Mrs. i Iattie Hodge in Garland. Mrs. Janet Adams, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Green of Tremonton, attended the Tupperware Jubilee held at the Utah State University Tuesday through Friday. Janet received some lovely gifts. Mrs. Annette Richards, Mrs. Rhoda Welling and Mrs. Elsie Welling enjoyed the day in Salt Lake City Thursday. d Mr. and Mrs. Claude and daughter, Yvonne, attended the wedding ceremony in the Enchanted Evening Reception Center in Ogden Saturday evening where the Allred's granddaughter, Debra Lee Smith, became the bride of Bruce M. Swenson. The bride is the daughter of Delbert and RaNae Smith of Layton and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max A. Swenson of Ogden. A reception honored the newlyweds following the ceremony.
