They were married in Iowa on July 3, 1927. Friends and family members are invited to call from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Visuano, 110 W. 4350 No. (located above the new Weber High School), Pleasant View, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Chiodo have two sons and one daughter, Don Chiodo of Eagle River, Alaska ; Gene Chiodo of Louisville, 111. and Mrs. Dave (Mary Anne) Visuano of Pleasant View, Utah. They have ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. They have requested that gifts be omitted. Lott, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Lott of Thatcher recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout. The honor was bestowed recently at a court of honor held in the Thatcher-Penros- e ward. Lott has served as Deacon Quorum president, secretary and second counselor in the Teacher Quorum and is pres- - CLEARANCE ently serving as. first assistant to the Bishop in the Priest Quorum. Lott is a recent graduate of Bear River High School and Garland Seminary. He wrestled during his' junior and senior years and received a letter in this port in high school. Obituary Rulon Hans Bowman Rulon Hans Bowman, 75, Honeyville, died Tuesday, July 5, at the McKay Hospital in Ogden of heart failure. Born December 12, 1901, in Thatcher, Arizona to Abraham and Hildgrade Chlarson Bowman, married Reta Samson August 6, 1922 in Los Angeles, Calif. Member of the LDS Church. They accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Larin Petersen of Ogden to Daley City, Calif, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Trainor and Melanie. Russell Brown and Eric Petersen returned home with them. Then the Madsens joined their daughter, Myrna Palmer of Clinton, her husband, Bill, and children for a camping trip in Logan Canyon for several days. Monday the Madsens were in Sunset with their son, Steven and family. Mrs. Eldon Adams came' from Logan to visit with the Brian Burbank family on Monday. Mrs. Adams has been quite ill and is now able to be up and about. This lady is such an active person, and we truly wish her a good recovery.
