Although the heat pump is not new and has been in operation for over SO years it now moves to the front. The heat pump does not generate heat nor does it consume electricity to do so. The heat pump merely transfers heat from outside to the inside by ivay of an electric motor. The cost of electricity has risen but the heat that is transfered, "the sun's heat" is free. The exciting WESTINGHOUSE HIRELI heat pump has become very popular shouting savings of 50 to 60a over conventional methods. KM ' Ju n mi How it Works Some heat exists even in the coldest arctic air. As long as temperatures can be recorded (even far below zero), it's possible to take this heat from the air. Westinghouse engineers used this knowledge to develop a unit that can take heat from the outdoor air and transfer it into your home. This same remarkable unit can work in reverse by taking heat from inside your home and moving it outdoors. Thus, we now have one unit capable of handling all the heating needs of your home, automatically. Hi-Re-L- i?
