Morrison of Tremonton is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her son, Ray Douglas, to Linda Barendregt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ingen Barendregt of Salt Lake City. The couple will be married May 12 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the new Riverside Stake Center, 1100 West 500 North, Salt Lake City. Hatch is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Porter Christensen of Thatcher. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hatch of Logan, Utah. Miss Christensen is a 1973 graduate of Bear River high LDS school and four-yea- r seminary. She was affiliated with the Bear River choir, band, pep club, Key club and FHA. Kathy is now attending Utah State University where she is majoring in health education and is currently student teaching at North Cache Junior high school. Mr. Hatch graduated from Logan high in 1973 where he was active in stage band,, orchestra and musical orchestra. He was also a member of the National Honor Soc k iety. He served an LDS mission to the Nagoya Mission in Japan and is currently a sophomore at Utah State University, majoring in business administration. He is also active in LDS "Sounds of Zion", the marching band and USU jazz ensemble. After a short honeymoon and completion of school in June, the couple will tour Europe for six weeks with the LDS "Sounds of Zion." They will make their home in Logan.
