Show Page 9 THE LEADER-GARLAN- TIMES Oct. 14, 1976 School Completion, English Classes Set Classes are again being held in the Tremonton area for high school completion and English as a second language. For high school completion, credit is given in all the basic areas through work in classes and the General Education exam .Subject matter is given and reviewed in five areas.English, literature, math, science and soc- ial studies to prepare class members before they take the exam. The exam is not required for high school completion, but is available for those interested. pre-scho- ol the General Education exam not only for people who do not speak English, but also people who need practice in reading and writing. The classes are held in the basement of the Community Center. English as a second language is held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Classes with work towards Tuesdays and Thursdays conversations and then reading and writing. This is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A similar class is also available to persons in the Snowville area on Thursday afternoons from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Elementary School.
