Mr. and Mrs. Reese Abel were attending BYU then moved to Las Vegas. Last weekend the family of Dale Allen received their nephew and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cooney for weekend guests. Mr. and Mrs. Cooney are of Salt Lake City. Sunday afternoon the families of Mr. and Mrs. Jed Abbott and Mr. and Mrs. De Vere Rock enjoyed a picnic at Porcupine Dam. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Able of Garland enjoyed the company of their son and daughter-in-Mr. and Mrs. law, Keith Abel of Fielding, Saturday and Sunday. Their two grandchildren, Brandy and Keith were also there. Mr. Erick Stenquist celebrated his 96th birthday at a family dinner, Saturday evening. The dinner was held at the home of his daughter Mr. and Mrs. and Lowell Farnsworth of Fruit Heights. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Stenquist, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Stenquist, Mr. and Mrs. Ben son-in-la- . There was a great scarcity of utensils, because we didn't seem to know what to order in order to get these necessary items. Practical Karma Spackman made a spoon out of the foil on the potato and managed to do a good job eating jello salad. It was surprising that anyone could even eat what they did order due to the hilarious reactions when the courses were served.
