This run for fun was organized by the Golden Spike Track Club and is scheduled as part of the annual Golden Spike ceremonies Utah. Following the flag ceremony, the Olympic events proceeded without delay and the many colorful booths and exhibits were opened simultaneously to the public. Parents and friends of the Scouts attended the fair ingoodly numbers to add to the already excitement of the gala affair. Ribbons were presented to the first, 55cot4 tfilrd" and fourth place winners in each of nine different events and trophies were awarded to the three outstanding athletes of the 8, 9 and 10 year old Cubs, and one trophy given to the outstanding 12 and 13 year old Scout Ribbons were also presented to the winners of the outstanding booths.
