Agathon is the west's largest student - managed educational fair. The focus this year being placed on the space age, a special Science Fair will display developments made in science by high school students. High school seniors throughout Utah, Idaho and parts of Nevada and Wyoming have been invited tj attend USU's "big event of the year." At least 1500 high school seniors are expected to attend. The seniors will be special guests of the University students. Along with this event will be a free dance in the UB Ballroom Seniors will be able to attend both events is Mrs. Laura Hitt Petersen, 72, died April 20, at the family residence in Garland after a long illness. She was born Oct. 14, 1885 in Malta, Ida., a daughter of James B. and Jane L. Parks Hitt. Reared in Malta, she later attended Albion State Normal School. She married Albert J. Petersen Jan. 7, 1904 in Brigham City. A member of the LDS Church, she was a Relief Society teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. The family has lived in Garland for the past 33 years. Surviving are her husband and the following sons and daughters, Wilbur, Denver, Colo.; John A. (Buck), Garland; Howard, Tremonton; Mrs. Clark (Maud) Jensen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Madge) Snyder, Ogden; Mrs. A. M. (Cleopha) Messer and Mrs. Orval (Laura) Mrs. Calif.; Litle, Orange, Lloyd (Winifred) Coppinger, St. Calif.; Mrs. Willard Paula, (Lois) Flinders, Venice, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Betty Lou) Logan, Norwalk, Calif.; also 28 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, John C.
