Show THE BEAVER (Utah) PRESS THURSDAY, JULY 29, 1965 Class Of 1960 Reunion The Class of 1960 celebrated their five-yeclass reunion at the Ponderosa Cafe Friday evening, Weldow George and Mike White entertained with guitars while the class members enjoyed a very fine banquet. Dee Hollingshead read the Class Prophecy and Kenneth Yardley read the Class Will. Prizes were given by Ronnie Edwards. Letters were sent to the class by those who couldn't attend and read by Janyce Myers. The letters were from Lynn McKee, Joe Bradshaw of Salt Lake; Kae Terry, Germany; Julie Ann Farrer, Logan; and Carlie Pick-arWashington. Enjoying the wonderful evening were Mr. and Mrs. Neil At- kin, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman (Janyce) Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Billie Dal-toMr. and Mrs. Ronnie Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill (Joyce) Moody, Calvin Eyre, Mr and Mrs. Billie Fails, Spencer Gray, Ray Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hodges, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Hollingshead, Richard Joseph, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Karma) Kimrose, Ada Orton, Cecelia Patterson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Madge) Easton, Mr. and Mrs. Noal Robinson, Mr. Lynn Smith, Mr and Mrs. Nyle Stott, Alice, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Yardley, Mr. and Mrs. Orson (JoAnn) Blackner, Mr. and Mrs Hayward (Edith) Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Scott (May Jo) Mr. and Mrs. Al (Mary Lou) Moody. JoAnn Blackner was chairman of the reunion and Noal Robinson was master of ceremonies. All had an exceptionally good time getting to know their old classmates once again. Everyone was invited to the dance at Kenyon Grove. ar d, n, Mc-Knig- COMIN'S And GOIN'S Mr. and Mrs. Leon Ashworth and family of Ely, Nevada, were guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jonn Ashworth over the Leon and holiday week-enhis family were returning to their home from a trip to Yellowstone Park. The Walter Joseph home was the happy setting for a family reunion over the holiday. The guests included their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Collin (Karma) Smith; Wilf and Cleone Robinson, a brother of Kates; a granddaughter, Miss. Susan Joseph, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Joseph and her friend, William LarmeU, all of Salt Lake. Mrs. Janice Robinson Gates and family of Santa Monica. California are spending some time in Beaver. They are repainting their home and fixing it up. A son, Mr. and Mrs. e, Gates and family of California, are spending a few days with a sister, Mrs. Dee (Janet) Betteridge in Beaver also. Mrs. Lydia Patterson, her daughter Helen of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Eyre and children of Las Vegas, were guests of their daughter and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hollingshead and family the past week-enThe Eyres are remain ing for the races this week-enFairly popping at the seams was the Heppler home the past week-enTwenty-fiv- e family members gathered there. They included their mother, Marva, Wayne and his family, of California, Galen and his family of St. George, Marlynn and Con Smith and their family of Cedar and Jack and his new bride Marii. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Puffer, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Nilsson of Las Vegas and Joe Puffsr oi Milford were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Puffer Jr. on Sunday. Little Anne Marie Smith of Brigham City spent the past wek in Beaver with her grandparents, Ross and Vilda Smith. On Friday her parents, Dan and Martha and brother Danny came for the Homecoming celebration also. Anne was one of the pioneer children in the on Friday evening. Clyde E. Algood has been in Beaver for a month visiting his mother, Mrs. Ethel Appleton, and his uncle, George Valentine, along with other relatives. Mrs. Marie Boyter and children spent the past week in Bea ver with her parents, Mr. and Other Mrs. Clyde Messinger. guests of the Messingers included a friend of Marie's, Don Powell, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Burdett, a sister of Mrs. Messinger, all of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Walt Messinger and family of Cedar City were also guests of their parents. They all enjoyed a trip to the mountains while they were here. Ralph Skinner and son, Jimmy, have moved back to their home in Beaver. Ralph will work for the Railroad in Mil-fofor a while. He hopes it will become permanent. Jimmy is planning to attend school at CSU during the winter. Guests of the Clark Smith's for the past week have been their mother and her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Laub, and n uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, all of Salt Lake City. Visitors over the week-en- d were Clark's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Karl McBride and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Smith. I was really happy that my father, Mr. and Mrs. Sim Murdock, and my sister, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Armstrong and her children Donald and Paula, of Cedar City were in attendance at the pageant under my direction on Friday night.
