Several have suggested we do it for Beaver's 110th birthday next February 6th. Possibly it can be arranged for then. Thank you for your support. We want to thank the Lion's Club for their request of a repeat and I especially want to thank the cast for doing such a "bang-up- " performance. It was a privilage for me to work with such talent. (We'll see you next February, maybe.) The parade was outstanding and the largest and finest for many a year. Several of the floats were quite unique. The program was very fine and featured seme outstanding local talent. The kids really loved the fireworks and wasn't the "B" just beautiful? If it were possible it would be fun to name every single visitor to the old home town. Almost every home in town was filled to overflowing with happy relatives and friends I have heard there were probably more in town than there has been since the July 24th Centennial celebration in 1956. One thing is sure, there were lots of folks and we in Beaver were surely glad to have them come. Even though the rain came (uninvited) and stayed, it didn't succeed in dampening too many spirits and the races were very good in spite of the mud. Everyone who had to leave to get back to work felt the trip was worth while and those who are fortunate enough to be able to stay for this week's races are getting excited all over again. It looks like another week-en- d of fun. See you there. Speaking of the homecoming, don't you think the Chuck Wagon breakfast was fun.
