Show 18 Hitttop July 24, 1997 SPORTS BRIEFS Washers tournament on tap The Aircraft Directorate's Washers V Tournament is July 31 and Aug. 1, 5 p.m., at the Officers Club, Bldg. 150. There has to be four people to a team, a team name and a $5 entry fee. This year, each team is required to bring a banner or poster with their team name to be displayed during the tournament. COOP-ERLo- r Group-wis- e: Lady Falcons take third in tournament, win game in Clinton Hill's Lady Falcons took third place in the Salt Lake City Pioneer Days Women's Softball Tournament held this past week- end. Coach Kim Wagner feels that the team is ready for the Air Force Materiel Command Women's Softball Championships held next week. In league play Monday, the Falcons came out with a solid defense and offense to defeat Fabriweld, 20-- The Falcons are 5 and 3 and are in third place out of eight teams. They will finish their season Monday, 9 p.m. Rod Run coming to tennial Park Cen- The 9th annual Hill AFB Rod Run is Aug. 17, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., at Centennial Park.
