Show April ! 4, 1994 New Over 35 champion crowned Sports Briefs After a few years of domination in the Over 35 Basketball League, Bad to the Bone finally fell. Old Gang captured the title from Bone in exciting fashion, winning the title game Old Gang had a pretty comfortable lead of at halftime in the game. Bad to the Bone came back to within two points in the second half, but could not get Old Gang to relinquish the lead. But it went right down to the last tick on the clock, as with seven seconds left in the game and Bone trailing by three, Dan Kearns stole the ball from Old Gang and streaked downcourt to put up a possible game-tyinbut it missed the mark. The tournament has been classified as a World Armed Forces Tournament qualifier. There will be tournaments, which follow U.S. Slowpitch Softball Association rules, in both C and D divisions. Non-DOcivilians will now be allowed to compete on C Division teams. The D division is strictly for unit intramural teams with no pick-u- p D players. Letters due for trap shoot league will be due of for 649 CES, 67 There will also be a home run derby the evening of May 14. Team trophies and individual awards will be given out. Entry fee is $120 per team plus an ad- Letters intent Monday squadron teams interested in the intramural trap shoot league. The league will begin April 26. Teams will consist of three individuals. Squadrons are allowed to enter as many teams as they desire.
