Show 8 Hilltop Times Nov. 10, 1993 Almost 200 photos by military and civilian photographers were submitted to the base photography contest sponsored by the Arts and Crafts Center in October. More than 50 winning entries will now compete contest in the Air Force Materiel Command-leve- l that is being hosted this year by Hill through Friday. "Some people just enter a favorite snapshot, and it's really surprising because sometimes they win," Midget said. Many contestants are also quite experienced, she added. The contest was judged by professional Utah artists and photographers. Judging for the base-levcontest took place Oct. 13, and winners were chosen in 11 categories. Winners received plaques and ribbons.
