The celebration showcases the improved customer service capabilities of MWRS, as well as providing a full schedule of fun activities for base workers. The bash features a Summer Hunt and a "Pooped Moose" essay contest. See details of the contests below. JULY 15 B Finals of the squadron challenge. Employees will be chosen by their MWRS peers based on team spirit and positive customer comments, as well as their enthusiasm. . Leave policy for the week's activities has been defined by the Personnel Directorate as follows. "Employees desiring to attend or partichjate in these activitues during duty hours must request annual leave or leave without g official. pay from their leave is appropriate Compensatory only when the compensatory time has already been earned. Employees attending the picnic may do so in conjunction with their lunch period; however, any time in excess of the approved 'lunch period is chargeable to leave." The contest requires customers to find Biff and Betty, the Summer Bash characters, on the Summer Hunt posters located in five Morale, Welfare, Recreation and Services facilities. Contest cards and hunt posters are in MWRS facilities now. The final Summer Hunt poster will be on display July 14 at the picnic. Cards can be dropped into the entry box at the picnic.
