Harris Hilltop Times staff writer KAYSVILLE Track conditions were nearly perfect for the annual Hill intramural track meet held May 22. When the dust settled on the Davis High School track, the 2849th Civil Engineering Squad' ' ron team prevailed. The 1881st Communications Squadron dominated the women's competition by winning seven of 10 events. CES's men placed first in only three events, but placed high enough in other events to take the overall victory. t Nine teams participated in the annual event. The participants were CES, 1881st CS, 388th Aircraft Generation Squadron, 2849th Security Police Squadron, 2701st Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squadron, 388th Tactical Fighter Wing, Detachment 8, 1365th Audiovisual Squadron, 6545th Test Group and 2952nd Combat Logistics Support Squadron. In the women's field events, Karen Reed of the 1881st CS floated the longest discus throw with a toss of 141 feet, IV inches. Reed also won the javelin with a throw of 67-Viola Thomas of CES won the long jump with a Regina Thompson of the 388th TFW leap of 11-won the high jump by clearing the bar at 4 feet.
