The command has a goal for restaurant net income. Proceeds from the restaurant go into the civilian welfare fund, providing for expansion and upgrade of restaurants, the civilian recreation programs offered through the recreation center, and to support other Morale, Welfare and Recreation Division programs such as the new fitness center and equipment at the gym." Adjustments in prices are initiated by restaurant management and approved by your civilian Nonappropriated Funds Council members. The base restaurant is subject to not only government audits but civilian audits as well. Recent audit results have indicated that prices charged within the. restaurant system lag behind what they need to be if we are to make net income goals.
