An event sponsored by the Youth Athletics Center, the hit, pitch and run gathered together the baseball skills and talents of many Hill AFB youth, chasing coveted trophies. Playford scored a perfect 150 points in the pitching portion of the contest, tossing all three baseballs into the sack. He racked up 180 points in the hitting and 80 points in the running portion of the 0. 4-- 3. 2-- 2-- 0 division. Blake Miller captured second place in a division race with Playford. He earned 100 pitching points, 200 hitting points and 80 points in the running event. Mike Embry, chalked up 348 in that division. the title first place points, winning in in the tossed pitching, 50 points, Embry 188 points in hitting and 60 points running. Trevor Throndson bounced back from a zero pitching total to finish in second place with 259 points. Brian Glass had trouble with his hitting, 37 points, but earned enough pitching points, 50, and running markers, 80, to grab first place. Mike Waters racked up 235 points in the youngest division, to win first. He earned 50 pitching points, 125 hitting markers and 60 points In running.
