Five categories were offered: traditional, unusual, novelty, unwonted and smallest. The Mountain View Inn, better known as Base tree Billeting, Bldg. 146, created an with red ribbons, wooden ornaments, and traditional tree skirt with gifts to win the traditional . category. Among the unusual, the Control Room Aircraft Division, Bldg. 225, decorated a wooden spiral with ornaments of candy canes, red ribbons, lights and a wooden clock at the top. The novelty category was taken by the Directorate of Distribution, storage section A, Unit BC, Bldg. 850. The tree, with its tree skirt and gifts, was decorated with orniiments, tinsel and a star on top. Novelty? The tree hung upside down from the ceiling in the break room. In the unwonted category, Ralph Waldo III was created by the Auto Shop, Bldg. 1248.
