The juvenile charged with the theft, his parents were contacted and took custody of the subject. Three wall clocks and an arm chair were reported stolen from Bldg. 225 on the morning of Jan. 7. The alleged theft occurred over the weekend. A receptionist in Bldg. 533 reported that her personal "Pink Panther" mirror was taken from her work area over the weekend. Another theft in Bldg. 849 was reported to Security Police Jan. 7. A voltage surge protector for a computer, valued at $35, was taken. On the morning of Jan. 9, Security Police received a report that a clock had been stolen from an 6 aircraft while it was parked inside Hangar 45. The caller noted that the wires to the clock had been cut when it was removed. The clock is valued at $574.' F-1- o Drug and alcohol abuse A patrolman stopped a vehicle on 11th Street for failure to stop at a stop sign. When the operator was contacted by the patrolman, a moderate odor of alcohol was detected. The operator was identified as an Army reservist, and was charged and released 0, Yy F O checks A military member was booked into Weber arrested for lewdness by County Jail after being Riverdale Police. Bail was set at $105. The arrest report said the individual exposed himself outside a commercial business. Vandalism at $10. MK1 Jail when his intoxilyzer test recorded a .12 percent blood alcohol content. A military member reported his discovery of suspected marijuana to" one of his superiors, who brought the matter to the attention of Security Police. The witness also reported that the substance might belong to his roommate, who also stored large knives and other weapons iri his barracks room. A search was conducted, which revealed numerous weapons and a small amount of a controlled substance. The contraband items were seized and the subject was apprehended. Damage to two mattresses in the room was also discovered and documented as to have been caused by a knife or similar object.
