Personal Affairs Orientations are designed to provide this information and are held annually at Hill AFB. The orientation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Base Recreation Center, Bldg. 460. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. The schedule of events include briefings on Personal Affairs, Casualty Notification and Assistance, Survivor's Benefits, Family Services and the Air Force Aid Society. Children will be cared for free of charge at the base nursery. Reservations can be made by contacting the Family Services Center, Ext. 7230172391. Rabies vaccinations By 1st Lt. Mark R. Mason Hill AFB Veterinary Clinic Rabies vaccinations recognized by the state of Utah as being valid for two years in dogs older than one year and valid for one year in cats are used by the U.S. Army Veterinary Service, Utah Branch. Personnel traveling with their pets are reminded that interstate transport of pets is governed by state and federal health regulations. Most regulations require a valid rabies vaccination older than 30 days, but not older than one year. They also state the vaccine must be given by a licensed, accredited veterinarian. Branch, Veterinary Service at least two weeks prior to departure date to arrange for a health certificate. Health certificates will be given at no charge by appointment at any Animal Disease Prevention and Control Programs conducted by the Utah Branch, Army Veterinary Service.
