Randall, NCOIC nursing education and OJT administrator, USAF Hospital Hill: "I no longer go out trick or treating, because I usually get turned away more than I get candy. I have something at the door for the kids, since it is once a year that kids can get away with something. One thing that frustrates me during Halloween are some parents who escort their kids and stand on the sidewalk and that's okay to escort them but every time you give kids something, their eyes light up and they turn away saying 'Wow, I got a Baby Ruth'; then you hear from the sidewalk, 'Be sure to say thank you!' I just want to say, once a year let them alone!" Donna Stimpson, secretary. Plans and A Joyce Beveridge, clerical assistant, 508th TFG: "I control where my children go trick or treating because of the razor blades and things that crop up now and then. I also let them go to school parties and those at church." ('' Programs Directorate: "Halloween is about the only time of the year that my two little boys dress true to form (like little monsters). We usually go trick-o- r treating early so we can come back and pass out the treats we '' 2nd Lt. Pasquale Patruno, commander. Medical Sq. Section, USAF Hospital Hill: "I try to encourage my children to make their own costumes instead of buying them. We are concerned a little about the trick or treating portion of it, because of the danger that is being imposed on the children. We only let them go to neighbors' homes that we know and as far as letting them go out throughout the night, we don't. Instead, we let them get the enjoyment of passing out the candy and things." u. s. Henderson, instrument and autopilot mechanic, 508th TFG: "We have a couple of traditions. We will get apple cider and doughnuts and do something like last year when we lived in Willard. We had a big old house and made the front of it all dark, my wife dressed up like a witch and we had a lot of fun with the kids when they came. We are going to try to do something like that in our new home in North Ogden. We have a lot of real interesting teenagers in our neighborhood and will get together and work up something fun with them this year." 'If Greg -treaters. TSgt. Elic Salmons, NCOIC patient affairs. USAF Hospital Hill: "We will do the same as we did at our last base. We decorate the house, have treats for kids and I put on my stereo with the speakers back of the bushes and play Halloween albums with eerie music, ghost sounds and the like."
