Active duty military personnel may go to a civilian optometrist at Air Force expense only if they are referred by our hospital staff or if extenuating circumstances exist which our optometrist cannot manage. Waiting time for appointments for active duty military personnel is four weeks. Active duty personnel are given priority over dependents and other beneficiaries. We regret the long waiting time, but the situation is temporary. During the Day Shift: A motorcycle may legally park in any vehicle stall in an open parking lot and in all triangular marked areas at the end of parking rows, in established base parking lots when so posted. The Base Civil Engineers are surveying parking lots and will designate small areas for motorcycles to park. This will be accomplished before next summer: During Swing and Graveyard Shifts: Open parking is authorized in Class B lots until 6:30 a.m. on weekdays. Employees working these shifts who are not in a carpool should not park in Class B lots. If parked there after 6:30 a.m. they are subject to a citation. Weekend hours of operation in the dining hall were changed on July 1, 1978, when the dining hall changed from a two-meweekend feeding operation to a normal three-meoperation. On Sept. 26, 1978, the Security Police contacted the Civil Engineering Traffic Division on marking areas as prohibited parking for this type of vehicle.
