General McCutcheon s a i d that the Vice Commander will be retired at formal ceremonies to begin at 3:30 p.m., July 31 near Building No. 1 at Hill AFB. General Wise has nearly 30 years of military service. Base and civic officials, military dignitaries from various Armed Forces installations and others, will witness the general's retirement. Music will be furnished by the Air Force Band from McChord AFB, Wash. General Wise came to Hill AFB in July of last year from Wright-PattersoAFB, Ohio, where he was Base Commander for three years. Prior to that assignment, he was Chief of Operations Division, Directorate of Operations, Hq AFLC.
