Celine Patient to wed Willard Graves April 19 Celine Patient, a graduate gradu-ate of Provo High School, will marry Willard L. Graves, of Oakland, Calif., Saturday, April 19 at Orem Community Church. Celine is a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She is the owner of Universal Arts of Karate and has been a martial arts instructor for 15 years. She enjoys outdoor activities and loves to travel. Willard is a member of the LDS Provo 6th Ward. He is a Brigham Young University racquetball player and enjoys playing basketball. He is employed in the janitorial business and is studying photography photogra-phy Pastor Charles Hines will perform the wedding ceremony. The maid of honor will be Sarah Hoefer, and bridesmaids will be Dawn, Samantha, Danielle and Suzanne Patient and Kathy Campbell. Matthew Chandler will serve as best man. Other attendants will be Ray Nash, Naoki Saito, Brent Parker, Paul Kasper, Jeff Hoefer and Steven Garrison. Flower girls will be Jade and Dominique Patient. Both girls will be escorted by Isaac Patient. Gabrielle Patient and Benjamin Hoefer will be ring bearers. Billy Baum will escort the bride down the aisle, and Shawndra Patient will play the piano for the ceremony. The couple is planning their honeymoon for Osaka, Japan. They will make their first home in Orem. A reception will be held Saturday, April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1160 South 150 West in Orem. All friends are invited. The Grove Theater to hold auditions for "Please Marry me Nellie" Auditions will be held Tuesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 24 for the Strawberry Days production of "Please Marry Me Nellie" a the new Grove Theatre in Pleasant Grove. The production dates are scheduled for June 16th to the 21st. Auditions will be held at the theatre, 20 South Main in Pleasant Grove at 7 PM both nights. Those auditioning should bring their own music and sing about 16 bars of a number num-ber of their choosing. An accompanist will be provided. Auditioners will also read from the script. The Melodrama will be directed by Joel A. Osborne and will be presented in the Delsarte style of acting. The play revolves around Nellie Lovelace who is destined des-tined to perform at the saloon of villain, Jebediah T. Jaundice unless the mortgage mort-gage can be paid by midnight. mid-night. SCERA Announces Auditions for "Big River" The SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre announces auditions for "Big River", directed by Jerry Elison. It will play on SCERA's outdoor out-door Orem stage June 13-28 (no shows TuesdayWednesday and Sunday). All parts are open. Men and Women ages 16 and older are invited to audition. Older men and African-Americans African-Americans are especially needed for lead an supporting support-ing roles. Auditions will be held Thursday, April 24 from 7-9 PM or on Saturday, April 26 form 10-Noon in Room B3 of the SCERA Center, 745 South State Street, Orem. Auditioners should prepare to sing 16 measures of a Broadway-style song. An accompanist or boom box will be provided.
