Show Obituaries Hello World New Utah! - Wednesday, May 23, 2001 - Page 14 John Mark Coddington John (Jack) Mark Coddington, 76, completed his journey here on earth May 14, 2001. at 10:30 p.m. quickly and in peace. He was born January 24, 1925 in American Fork, Utah, in the home he was raised in, to Thomas Mark and IdaVYagstaffCccldington. On June 15, 1945, Jack married his high school sweet heart, Raola Draper. Their marriage was solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 17, 1954. He worked for Geneva Steel and retired after 30 years. He derived great joy and satisfaction satis-faction from raising his pure bred Suffolk sheep and farming. farm-ing. Another joy for Jack was sending time with his family. fami-ly. He and his sweetheart had bt-en serving as missionaries at the Bishops Store House in Lindon for the last four years. Jack had a very strong testimony and love for our Savior Jesus Christ. He served in many leadership positions in The Church of Opal Greenwood Opal Mae Karren Greenwood passed away May 20, 2001 in Lehi, Utah. She was 14, 1912 in l-ehi, Utah to William a n d Magnolia Florence Curtis Karren. She mar ried Mark James Greenwood September 16, 1939 in American Fork,. Utah, later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Opal was very talented in floral designing and interior decorating. She participated in several businesses with her sons. Opal loved her family fam-ily very much and was a" major influence in their lives as. well as many others. She provided a loving home for her family as well as anyone in need. She was an active member of the Church of, Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jack's family would like to give a very special thank you to all of 'the staff at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, and a heart felt thank you to everyone who provided care for him. Jack goes with our love, and his love stays with us always. Funeral services were Friday, May 18, 2001, in the American Fork 33rd Ward. Burial was in American Fork Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 24, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Lehi 5th Ward, 475 East 300 North. Zora Smith Zora Attie Ellingford Smith, age 87, passed away May 21, 2001, at her home in Lehi, Utah. She was born Nov. 12, 1913, in L v m a n , WY., the daughter of Thomas John and Amanda M a b 1 e Hoopes Ellingford. She married mar-ried IjeRoy Smith on June 22, 1932, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Zora was a faithful member mem-ber of the LDS Church where she served in all auxiliaries and had a great love .for genealogy work. She was a great wife and good mother to her children. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed their visits and Arnold M. Arnold McKinley Jeppson, 88, died Thursday, May 18, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nev. lie was born Jan. 8, 1913, in American Fork to John Heber Edward and Anna Marie M o n s o n Jeppson. On July 11, 1938, he married May Ellen Mott in Provo. Arnold was born and raised and lived all of his life in the home that his grandparents grand-parents established as early pioneers in American Fork. For the last 21 years, he has called Overton, Nevada, home during the winter, enjoying the warmer weather and family there. As a young man he worked as a farmer and rancher, then later he worked for Deseret Chemical and also helped establish a mine in Nevada with his brother.
