The bride-to-be is the daughter daugh-ter of Marvin Gene and Linda Fordham of Thompson, Utah. The prospective groom is the son of Bennett H. and Carolyn Bracken of American Fork. A reception will honor them that same evening at the American Fork Senior Citizen Center, 54. E. Main. All friends and family are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be Kimberley Fordham, Kimberly Bracken, Dawn Fordham and Brandi Olesen. Best man duties will be performed per-formed by Kurt Bracken and Michael Fordham. ' 111 Bonnie Astin to wed Philip Richards in temple Bonnie N. Astin, daughter of Steve and Noreen Astin of American Fork, formerly of Payson, will marry Philip L. Richards, son of Arlyn and Colleen Richards of American Fork. The wedding will take place in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple on Saturday, May 15. A reception will be held that same evening from 7 to 9:30 at the American Fork 25th Ward, 455 E. 300 North. Phil earned his Eagle Scout award and graduated from American Fork High School, where he earned scholastic honors. He graduated from LDS Seminary. He worked as a lifeguard at the American Fork Fitness Center. He served an LDS mission in Ecuador from 1996 to 1998. He is an honor student at the University of Utah in his last year, at the top of his class in electrical engineering. He works as an engineer at TRW at Hill Field. He plans to do graduate work in the future. The couple will make their first home in Bountiful where they will continue to work and study.
