Show Trendsetter Homes Moves To New Am. Fork Location Don A. Olsen, president and owner of Trendsetter Homes in American Fork, announced this week that his business will soon be housed in a new building. Trendsetter Homes moved to American Fork two years ago in February. At that time the business was located in a building build-ing owned by the American Fork Industrial Development Commission at 700 East Main Street. The new move takes them across the street to a building at 705 East Main where there will be more room for planning and production facilities. Mr. Olsen, who has had some 30 years of experience in fields related to construction, explained ex-plained that he began Trendsetter Trend-setter Homes three years ago in Nephi. Before that time he was involved in developing a housing area in the hills of Colorado. When he was unable to find a prefabricated house with any significant variety in its design, he decided to go into business for himself in Utah. Mr. Olsen explained that his company does not build modular modu-lar homes. Instead, it produces "prefabricated panelized houses" in which complete wall, floor and ceiling' panels are assembled in American Fork and put together on the construction site. The advantage advan-tage of using panels, according to Mr. Olsen, is that there is no damage" in shipping and more maneuverability on the site. The company offers a variety of house designs including an octagonal house, an L -shaped house, a four-plex townhouse, as well as conventional square cornered homes. Trendsetter Homes presently employees 16 people. However, when the move to the new building is made, another shift of workers will be added. Other plants based on the American Fork concept are to be built in Utah in the future. The first of these plants will be located in Blanding, Utah and should be operating in the next three months. l r liiil DON A.
