Coleman flamed to Aid in July 20 to 23. mil LOCAL TALENT IN OREM MUSICAL-In a comedy scene from the Orem Summer Festival musical 'Little Merry Sunshine" Carol Pulley, Pleasant Grove, woos Barry Bullock, Alpine. Barry plays the role of Corporal Billy Jester. Barry Bullock Named Lead in Arenis Musical "Lillle Mary Sunshine" Barry Bullock of Alp. has been cast as one of the leads In Orem's Summer Festival pro ductlon of "Little Mary Sun shine." The gay musical comedy will be staged at the Orem Junior High School July 21, 22 and 24 with curtain time each evenlncr at 115 p.m. The comedy, authored by RTcf Besoyan, will be directed by Jtrry EUson, well- known throughout the area for his deft ness in this area. Fay R. Johnson, John-son, president of the sponsoring Orem Boosters, Inc., Is pro ducer. Mr. Johnson noted that the lead female role of "Little Mary" Is double cast for the production ' due to the fact that Judges were unable to choose between two "perfect tryouts, Patricia Jean Christensen of Orem and Melva Lee Allred of Provo. Both girls display exceptional singing voices and have a wealth of musical experience to their credit, officials said. Terry Balser of Provo plays the role of the handsome Captain Cap-tain Warington and Carol Pulley of Pleasant Grove is cast as Naughty Nancy, maid to Little Mary Sunshine. Also taking leading roles are Ruth Melville, William (Bill) .7 A T? Peterson, Randl Peterson and Jan Camp. The play is set in the Colorado Color-ado mountains with a group of lovable, humorous characters Including In-cluding rugged forest rangers on an "important mission", several sev-eral very proper young ladles fresh from finishing school In the East, Chief Brown Bear, who adopts" Mary Sunshine and ancient an-cient Indian guide, Fleet foot; a villainous villain, Yellow Feather and others. Mr. Coleman, who was born In England, has been active in the Bible ministry for 37 years and has done much traveling since he became a full-time minister in northern California, Texas, Colorado and Utah. He has been a traveling circuit minister for two years and in this capacity he visits a congregation of Jehovah's Je-hovah's Witnesses every week to assist each minister to become a better, qualified teacher of the Holy Bible. Presently he visits 16 congregations from Richfield to Salt Lake City in Utah and Ely and Elko, Nevada. At this Ogden convention on Friday evening, Mr. Coleman will be in charge of a staged dramatization drama-tization highlighting the theme "Let Us Conform Ourselves to God's Eternal Principles." Orville Welden, local presiding minister, said the featured speaker will be Maurice O'Cal-laghan, O'Cal-laghan, circuit supervisor from Wyoming, who will deliver the climax public Bible discourse "Rescuing a Great Crowd of Mankind Man-kind Out of Armageddon" onSun-day onSun-day afternoon, July 23, at 3 p.m. A peak attendance of 3,000 ministers min-isters is expected by the final day.
