Our City Crews Assist in Steel i Days Planning The entire city work force has been busy completing last minute details in the big Steel Days Celebration program. Crews have completed moving mov-ing the six sections of movable bleachers from the WBBA ball parks for use in the Steel Day Celebration. Two of the units have been placed adjacent to the horse shoe pits in Robinson Park to facilitate seating spectators at the Thursday and Saturday tournaments. Other bleacher units have been moved to the American Fork race track, north of town, where spectators will gather for the horse races on Saturday. City crews and equipment will also assist at the race track in grading the parking area and preparing pre-paring the track for the race events. The city water tanker will be on the scene this week to assist as-sist in putting the race track in top shape for the Steel Days races. Employees spent Monday erecting the portable stage at the high school football stadium, constructing con-structing an 18 by 30 foot stage for the "Curtain Timers" production, pro-duction, which will be presented on the attractive outdoor stage on Friday evening. Temporary bleachers have al so been erected at this location, providing all who attend with excellent ex-cellent seats to the variety show. Every seat will be a good one, promises general Steel Days chairman Norman E. Shumway. City crews will report for work at 5 a.m. Sunday morning to clean up the concession area, preparatory prepara-tory to the general priesthood session which is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. in the tabernacle.
