Utah deer hunters harvested 105,599 animals during the 1957 hunting seasons, according to recently re-cently compiled data from department de-partment offices. The figure shows a decrease of 16,986 deer compared to the all-time all-time record of 122,585 animals taken by hunters during the 1956 seasons. Chukar partridge brood stocks at the Price and Springville game bird farms have been selected and placed in laying pens during the past several days, as the department de-partment program to establish this game bird in Utah went into its eighth year. |
