Show Thursday, July 13. 2006 NORTH COUNTY NEWSPAPERS Page 13 E 'Ml fiefs TIMPANOGOS CHORALE Auditions planned Timpanogos Chorale, under the direction of Kenna Mills and guest conductor Donald Rip-plinger, Rip-plinger, retired associate conductor con-ductor of Mormon Tabernacle Choir, are giving auditions for new choir members. The open auditions will be held Aug. 29, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in the community room of the American Fork Library, 64 S. 100 East. An accompanist will be provided for auditioners, who need to bring a short song for their audition. Regular Thursday evening rehearsals will recommence Aug. 31 in the library at 7 p.m. Preparations will begin for the Christmas concerts held in December in the American Fork High School auditorium, and in the South Visitor Center on Temple Square in SLC. SCERA The Spinners to appear in concert The Spinners will reprise soul classics from the '70s such as "Could It Be I'm Fallin' in Love," "Working My Way Back To You" and "Then Came You" to celebrate Pioneer Day in Orem at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre July 24 at 8 p.m. Tickets are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. at the SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 S.
