Official results were just made available, and Orem Junior High School had several students who finished with high scores for their particular grade level. Rachel Call, an eighth grader, received the following awards: First place in the school; third place in the state for 8th graders; third place in the Junior Exam for region Seven; fourth place in the Junior Exam for division III-A. Ryan Van DeGraaff placed first in the seventh grade for Orem Junior High, and he received an award for his eighth place finish in the state wide competition for seventh graders. Jim Moss, an eighth grader, received an award for his second place finish in the school. He also finished 28th in the state wide competition for his grade level.
